Giada De Laurentiis Calls It Quits With Her Husband of 11 Years, Todd Thompson
It's over for Giada De Laurentiis and Todd Thompson.
On Monday, Dec. 29, the 44-year-old celebrity chef took to her Facebook page to announce her split from her fashion designer husband of 11 years.

"After an amicable separation since July, Todd and I have decided to end our marriage," she began the statement. "Although our decision to separate comes with a great deal of sadness, our focus on the future and overwhelming desire for our family's happiness has given us the strength to move forward on separate, yet always connected paths."

Todd and Giada married in May 2003 and welcomed their only child, daughter Jade Marie De Laurentiis-Thompson, on March 29, 2008.

"Todd and I share a beautiful daughter and a lifetime of great memories that we both treasure more than anything," she added.
Following the announcement of their separation, Giada wrote a heartfelt message to her more than one million followers on Twitter, "Thanks so much for your support in this time of change."
