Apple Martin, 14, Hilariously Comments on Mom Gwyneth Paltrow’s Latest Instagram Photo — See What She Said!

It seems like Gwyneth Paltrow‘s teenage daughter, Apple Martin, isn’t about her mom cramping her style! The 14-year-old daughter of the Iron Man star laid down the law with her famous mama after Gwyn took to Instagram and shared a sweet pic of the two while sitting on a ski lift.

“Mom, we have discussed this,” Apple wrote in the comments section of her mom’s pic. “You may not post anything without my consent.” Not letting her daughter call the shots, Gwyneth, 46, snarkily replied, “You can’t even see your face!” Which is extremely fair considering the snap shows the Goop owner smiling big as her mini-me hides behind her large snow goggles and ski helmet. Fans of the Avengers actress couldn’t help but relate to the hysterical exchange between the mother and daughter. “My daughter responded the same when I posted her photo on social media,” one fan wrote alongside a laughing face emoji in the comments section. “My daughter was exactly like this as a teenager! Sadly, as a 31-year-old, she is still this way,” another user joked.

This isn’t the first time that Gwyn — who is also the mom to Moses Martin, 12 — has received backlash from her kiddos. In January, the blonde beauty admitted that her two kids, who she shares with ex-husband Chris Martin, are going through the phase where they want nothing to do with her.

“I am mortifying,” she dished to Rachael Ray during an appearance on The Rachael Ray Show. “Like, I am the most embarrassing person all of a sudden. It’s been, like, a couple good years that I’ve been the most embarrassing person. If I do anything silly in public, the color drains from [Apple’s] face. Any silly jokes, or if I dance, like, in a store, God forbid. She’s like, ‘Mom!’ and I’m like, ‘OK, sorry, got it.'”

Not even a week later, Gwyn — who is now married to husband Brad Falchuk — dished more details about her embarrassing antics to Jimmy Fallon. “There was some really great song playing [on a shopping trip with Apple] and she just looked at me, and she was like, ‘Don’t even think about it,'” she shared during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “And I was like, ‘Oooh, Apple,’ and she’s like, ‘Do not, Mom.'” Better luck next time, Gwyn!
