Heather Locklear and Lorenzo Lamas Want a ‘Commitment Blessing’ Instead of a Formal Wedding

Heather Locklear and Lorenzo Lamas are ready to take the next steps in their romance, says a source.

“They’re essentially living together right now, but they’re talking about getting a place together,” the source tells Closer. “Before they do that, though, they want to get married.”

According to the source, the Dynasty icon, 65, and the Falcon Crest legend, 68, won’t go the traditional route with their vow swap.

“They’re not interested in a church wedding,” explains the source. “A commitment blessing outside in front of their family and closest friends is more their speed. They’re both very spiritual.”

As for the location, the source believes the backyard of the actress’ longtime California abode would make an ideal choice.

“Heather has an incredible property. It’s huge and absolutely stunning,” shares the source. “It makes sense for them to do it there because they can have total privacy.”

Last month, Lamas raised eyebrows on Instagram by seemingly joking marriage wasn’t in the cards for him and Locklear. However, he’s since taken down the post — and our source insists his silly quip was just a defense mechanism.

“Anytime people ask if they’re going to get married, Lorenzo will make a joke about his track record because he’s been married so many times already,” says the source. “He and Heather both know people are judgmental about that. But the truth is, they do want to make some sort of proper commitment.”

As Closer previously reported, the actor’s fifth divorce — from estranged wife Kenna Nicole Scott — is set to officially go through on November 16, 2026.

This November will also mark one year since he and the Melrose Place alum reconnected at a fan convention in Buffalo, N.Y., more than four decades after initially meeting.

“Lorenzo is a very old-fashioned guy,” adds the source. “Even after all of his divorces, he still believes in marriage and making that commitment and he says Heather deserves that.”
