Heidi Klum’s Engagement Ring From Tom Kaulitz Features A Gorgeous Emerald Cut Sapphire — And Could Be Worth $30K!

It’s no surprise that Heidi Klum‘s engagement ring from her new fiancé, Tom Kaulitz, is totally gorgeous! The 45-year-old model announced she’s ready to tie the knot with her German musician boyfriend, 29, on Dec. 24, 2018, and since then she’s been showing off her stunning (and unique!) new bauble all around Hollywood.

According to Brillant Earth, Heidi’s engagement ring from Tom “is a unique three-stone ring featuring a halo surrounding a center gemstone that is accented by two cushion cut diamonds in a white gold or platinum setting.” The center stone appears to be either an elongated cushion or emerald cut sapphire about 3-5 carats in size and is dark green in color. Depending on the quality and specific characteristics of Heidi’s ring, it could be worth anywhere between $20,000 and $30,000. And, luckily for the America’s Got Talent star, the bauble Tom purchased for his love is totally on-trend. “Both fancy cut gemstones and three stone rings have been gaining in popularity, and many celebs, including Meghan Markle and Amal Clooney, have opted for rings that feature these trends,” a spokesperson for Brilliant Earth revealed, adding that “emerald and elongated cushion cut diamonds create a flattering look as their elongated shape lengthens the wearer’s finger.”

Tom and Heidi previously revealed their surprise engagement on Christmas Eve 2018 by posting a sweet black and white selfie of themselves showing off the supermodel’s new ring via Instagram. To announce the happy news, Heidi simply captioned the snapshot, “I SAID YES!”

Heidi’s upcoming marriage to Tom will be her third. The supermodel was previously hitched to stylist Ric Pipino from 1997 until 2002 and then to singer Seal from 2005 to 2014. She shares her four kids — daughters Leni, 14, and Lou, 9, and sons Henry, 14, and Johan, 12 — with ex-husband Seal. Congrats on your engagement, Heidi and Tom, we can’t wait for the wedding!
