Jerry Lewis and Marilyn Monroe Once Had a Secret Affair, and We Can’t Believe Our Ears!

That would have been the most epic love story in Hollywood history, that's for sure! In a previous interview, the late Jerry Lewis — who sadly died from natural causes at age 91 on Sunday, Aug. 21 — admitted he had a secret affair with famed actress Marilyn Monroe back in the day.

When talking with GQ back in 2011, Jerry was asked about Marilyn's rumored affair with former President John F. Kennedy. While denying the false talk, he said, “I’m telling you what I know. Never! And the only reason I know is because I did. Okay?” Woah!

The affair happened when Jerry was married to his first wife, Patti Palmer, from 1944 until 1980, and it wasn't just a quick fling. "It was… long,” he confessed of one of the times they had sex. "I was crippled for a month.” He added of Marilyn's desire for intimacy, "She needed that contact to be sure it was real."

Rumors about JFK and Marilyn came about after she sang "Happy Birthday, Mr. President" to him at Madison Square Garden back in 1962. Just last year, the dress she wore during it was auctioned off for nearly $5 million!

Shortly after the incident, Marilyn sadly passed away in August 1962 at age 36. And as her friends and family exclusively revealed to Closer Weekly in a previous interview, the actress didn't see her death coming. Marilyn had made plans for "the day after she died…She was going to see the producers," Marilyn’s niece Mona Rae Miracle revealed. "It was very clear the studio was going to rehire her," notes Carl Rollyson, author of Marilyn Monroe: Day by Day. "She was making plans for the future." May Marilyn and Jerry rest in peace together, they are both very dearly missed.
