As if we needed any other reasons to absolutely obsess over Meghan Markle's May 19 royal wedding to Prince Harry, here's one more: The royal bride wowed fans with a second wedding dress, just like Kate Middleton did when she tied the knot with Prince William in 2011.

Sure, a lot of brides change into another dress between their ceremonies and their receptions, but Meghan and Kate alike managed to do something that was just as much of a showstopper as their first dresses. Scroll down to learn their differences and similarities!

They both had amazing designers

Meghan looked absolutely stunning in a Stella McCartney number as she stepped out hand in hand with her new husband before they headed out to their wedding reception. Meghan's reception dress was very modern and very sexy, and she showed off her toned arms in the backless evening gown.

You probably remember Kate wore an Alexander McQueen wedding dress for her ceremony before swapping it out for a simpler but stunning dress designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. (A double dose of McQueen for this future queen consort!)

They reflected different tastes

"Meghan's style certainly has an edge to it compared to the more traditional look of Kate Middleton," wedding dress designer Caroline Castigliano told Vanity Fair prior to the nuptials. "We have to remember Meghan's wedding photos will be seen and remembered for centuries to follow and will play as an important part of history. Choosing the best gown that will not look dated in years to come will play an important factor in the choosing of the gown, too. It will, I am sure, be fashionable but also classic to stand the test of time." Looks like she made the perfect choice!

They were both sleeveless

While Kate opted to accessorize with a simple lily white, furry shrug, Meghan left her arms bare. Additionally, Kate’s sweetheart neckline was more traditional to the sleeveless style, whereas Meghan’s featured a high halter neck.
