Meghan Markle Is “Doing Amazing” in Her New Royal Life, Says Friend Priyanka Chopra

Now that she's married to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle is "doing amazing" in her new royal life, the former actress' friend Priyanka Chopra revealed in a recent interview. "She’s doing amazing. It’s so nice to see," Priyanka told People of Meg.

Quantico lead Priyanka and former Suits star Meghan have been Hollywood friends for years and though their lives have drastically changed in recent months, Priyanka noted that she's always adored Meghan's impeccable style (and always will!). "I’ve always thought she was a super stylish girl. She’s someone that I’ve always looked up to for her style. Always, before she got married. And I just think she’s so well turned out always and she’s so chic in what she wears," she confessed.

In another recent interview, a palace source revealed that Meghan, 36, is "very excited about" her new role as the Duchess of Sussex and is enjoying her work with the royal family thus far. "You could argue that this job is her baby right now. It’s a job she wants to consider every element of and decision for very carefully," the insider told Us Weekly.

Thankfully, the source said Harry, 33, has "been instrumental in guiding her" and other members of the monarchy including — Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Prince William, and Kate Middleton — have also been supportive.

Earlier this year, one of Meghan's longtime friends similarly revealed that she is "really stoked" about her royal position and is "trying to make change happen" through her public platform. "There is a lot of work ahead of her, and it takes a really strong person to fill those shoes. This is now a huge platform for Meghan to really get into the activism that she wants to do. She’s really stoked about taking on the role and trying to make change happen," Meghan's pal and makeup artist Daniel Martin told People.

Another royal insider told People that Meghan is eager to focus on issues relating to "young women and teenage girls" in her new role. "She’s not going to want to be a quiet princess and simply open hospitals or cut ribbons," the source said. "She is familiarizing herself with the landscape in [the UK]. She’s meeting groups and wants to do that privately so she can get to know people."
