Move over, Cannes regulars. Tina Win just made her very first French Riviera debut and owned every single moment.
The independent pop singer and rising R&B force hit the amfAR Gala hand in hand with her best friend, actress Tara Reid, turned heads on the Cannes red carpet in not one but two stunning designer looks, flew to New York for one of Tribeca’s hottest premieres, and dropped a brand new single along the way. It was a stretch that would exhaust most people. Tina Win just looked fabulous doing it.
Besties at the Biggest Party on the Riviera
If you want to know where the real action was during Cannes, it was at the amfAR Gala on May 21 at the legendary Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes. The annual bash is the event of the festival, and this year’s crowd included Eva Longoria, Heidi Klum, Rami Malek, and Lizzo, with Academy Award winner Geena Davis holding court as host.
Tina Win walked in wearing a showstopping gown by designer Dorota Goldpoint and had her ride-or-die by her side all night. Tara Reid, the American Pie actress who has been Win’s close friend for years, joined her for the evening, and the two looked like they were having the time of their lives. The gala raised $20 million for HIV/AIDS research, so it was a good cause, great company, and an even better dress.
She Brought Le Thanh Hoa to Cannes and Won
Win was not done after the gala. She also stepped onto the Cannes red carpet for a festival premiere dressed in a breathtaking gown by acclaimed Vietnamese designer Le Thanh Hoa, and the look was nothing short of stunning. For someone making her very first appearance at one of the world’s most glamorous film festivals, Win carried herself like a seasoned pro. Then again, with a background working backstage at Fashion Week and interning at both Allure and Cosmopolitan, the woman knows her way around a major fashion moment.
Two designer looks. One Cannes debut. Zero nerves. That is how it is done.
From the Riviera to the Red Carpet in Camilla
After wrapping her South of France run, Win headed straight to New York City for the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival, where she attended the premiere of Only What We Carry in a gorgeous look by Australian luxury label Camilla. The film, one of the most buzzed-about at Tribeca’s 25th anniversary edition, features a cast that includes Simon Pegg, Sofia Boutella, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Quentin Tarantino, and singer Lizzy McAlpine. It was shot in just six days in Normandy on an improvised script, and critics have been raving.
Win fit right in with the A-list crowd, because at this point, that is exactly where she belongs.
“Chaos” Just Dropped and It Is Her Best Yet
Right in the middle of all the globe-trotting glamour, Win found time to release her new single “Chaos” on May 29. The track follows her previous singles “Try Anything” and the infectious dance-pop anthem “How To Be Cool,” and it might be the most revealing thing she has put out yet. Win has never been shy about the fact that her music comes straight from her real life, describing her songs as a reflection of the chaos, heartbreak, and reinvention she has actually lived through. The new single leans all the way into that.
As the founder of her own independent label, Tina Win Music LLC, she owns every word of it. And right now, the whole world is starting to listen.
