Nicole Kidman Is Done Talking About Ex-Husband Tom Cruise: ‘There’s Nothing Left to Be Said’

They were married for more than ten years and were one of the most famous couples on the planet, but Nicole Kidman wants everyone to know that she is done talking about her ex-husband Tom Cruise.

The ex-couple were married from 1990 to 2001, and adopted two children — Isabella, 26, and son Conner, 24 — along the way. However, while it has been more than a decade since their split, the actress, 51, still has fans bringing it up. “I mean, I get asked about it but it’s one of a hundred questions and now I’ve just gone,” she told Daily Mail.

“It’s done. That was two decades ago, so there’s nothing more to be said,” the Big Little Lies star continued. “It’s disrespectful to my husband now. It’s disrespectful to my ex-husband. I’ve always said: you don’t sit at a dinner party and discuss all your exes with your new partner there, who is then privy to all of it. It’s inappropriate.”

Today, the Oscar-winner is married to country star Keith Urban — they tied the knot in 2006 and have two young daughters, Sunday, 10, and Faith, 8. The pair are quite close too, as Nicole described her relationship as “very, very, very deep and intimate and close.” She added, “I love being around him. … I hope he says the same about me!”

Nicole seems like she has closed the chapter on her relationship with the Top Gun star, 56, but she once revealed that it took a little help from a fellow actor: Hugh Jackman and his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness. “When I got divorced, Hugh and Deb were so much a part of my healing,” the Destroyer actress said in an interview with Australian Women’s Weekly. “They were some of my best friends through that period.”
