Prince Louis Turns 1! A Look Back at the First Year of Life For Kate Middleton and Prince William’s Youngest Son
Can you believe Prince Louis is already 1 year old?! It seems like it was just yesterday when Kate Middleton gave birth to her third royal child with Prince William! Who can forget the sweet announcement that Buckingham Palace made when Prince Louis entered the world?!
“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs. The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well,” a statement released by the palace on April 23, 2018, read. “The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry, and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news.”
After he was safely delivered at the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital in London, his siblings, Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince George, 5, came to visit him before his mother brought him home to Kensington Palace.
“Sleeping’s going reasonably well so far, so he’s behaving himself which is good,” William previously said about his new baby. However, now that his son is one year older, Louis has experienced a whole bunch of different milestones since then.
