Prince William just admitted to a guilty pleasure that those of us without a title can totally understand.
Even though he’s next in line for the throne, William still enjoys watching reality television. More specifically, according to TV Insider, he’s “obsessed” with The Celebrity Traitor. The Prince of Wales made a surprise appearance on the October 23 episode of The Graham Norton Show, joining celebs Cate Blanchett, Robert Irwin, and Hannah Waddingham to discuss the Earthshot Prize, an environmental award he founded in 2020.
According to People, William spoke about the initiative, sharing, “For many years I was hearing stories about environmental issues and one thing that struck me was the negativity and doom which got me down. I thought we could do something more powerful and more optimistic and the idea of an awards’ ceremony came about and we could talk about urgency and optimism together. It’s all about getting excited.”
He continued, “There are some amazing people out there doing things to protect the world. We could really highlight what is being done and scale them to the next level to have more impact around the world.”

But he didn’t only tackle deep and meaningful world-changing issues during his appearance on the red sofa. William also spoke candidly about his family’s surprising reality TV obsession, The Celebrity Traitors, revealing, “I love it, the family love it. Charlotte and Louis are obsessed with it. It’s really good telly.”
While William and the rest of his brood enjoy The Celebrity Traitors, he also said he loves “getting immersed in deep-thinking films,” citing The Dark Knight as one of his favorites. The Prince praised the blockbuster’s director Christopher Nolan, adding, “He takes concepts that are completely out there and makes them incredibly entertaining.”
