Simon Cowell Flaunts Toned Figure as He Hits the Beach With Son Eric, 5, in Barbados

Dang! Simon Cowell was all smiles as he hit the beach in Barbados with his adorable 5-year-old son, Eric. The former American Idol judge had his slim figure on full display as he stepped out wearing nothing but a pair of grey-patterned swim shorts on Wednesday, December 18.

The 60-year-old hunk blew fans away as he showed off his toned tummy and enviable bod. Although Simon took little Eric to the beach for a low-key, fun-filled day in the sun, fans couldn’t help but marvel over the TV star’s incredible transformation.

Simon’s outing with his little bundle of joy — whom he shares with longtime girlfriend Lauren Silverman — comes shortly after he first opened up about his new, fit lifestyle. Around May, the Brit revealed he lost “about 20 pounds” after he strictly dedicated his life to being a vegan.

Even though Simon admitted he’s feeling “much better” since dropping the weight, he did joke about having “a really hard” time resisting eating pizza. LOL, totally understandable!

During a September appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the America’s Got Talent judge chatted about his new health kick and revealed the one thing he doesn’t have to give up in order to achieve a 6-pack glow.

“I went to see this doctor in London. We did some tests. And then a month later he said, ‘You have the worst diet I’ve ever met from any patient,’” he recalled to Ellen DeGeneres after the talk show host pointed out his inspiring weight loss journey. “So I went, ‘OK, out of the smoking, the drinking, and diet, what do I have to drop?’ And he said, ‘The diet.’ So I said, ‘I’m in!'”

Since it took years for Simon to prioritize his health in his life, the doting dad of one actually credits Eric for whipping his butt into shape. “I’m on the Eric Cowell diet,” he sweetly joked with Extra.
