Nothing will bring her down! Suzanne Somers wasn’t going to let a crutch keep her from doing what she has to do, as she appeared on Today to touch on various topics.

Before sitting down for an interview with the daytime NBC talk show, the 73-year-old was spotted outside rocking a crutch — something she had thanks to a fractured foot. The Three’s Company alum revealed that she had to “stay in bed and not move” very much for six weeks due to her injury. But how did she do it?

“I had a lot of sex,” Suzanne joked during her appearance, to the surprise of the Today cohosts. While there, the actress also discussed aging and how it’s truly just a number.

“The message for me is that I’m 73, and I thought that when I was 73, I’d be old,” Suzanne explained. “I’m chronologically old, in the big picture, but I’m not old. The message I really want to give to women is, it ain’t over.”

“What I realized over the years is aging is about worn-out parts,” she continued. “So, if you had a car, you’d keep correcting things that were breaking down. Well, with your body, there’s new testing … where you can see where your hormones have diminished, see exactly where your nutrients and minerals have diminished. If your body isn’t operating at peak, it’s because you’re not absorbing minerals, and so it’s all about putting back, filling the tank with exactly what you individually need.”

Suzanne has never had a problem opening about her personal life — she once revealed that she and her husband Alan Hamel take a shot of PT-141, which is a melanocortin-based peptide used for sexual arousal. “I’m kind of in that groove, like when you were younger and you’re in the mood all the time, and so is he because he’s on hormone replacements,” the businesswoman told Daily Mail.

“I thought, ‘Wow, what a great thing.’ Because men have had Viagra, but this is actually a shot for both men and women that’s not a drug. It just stimulates that part of your brain that says, ‘Hey, I’m kind of in the mood.’ And, so, isn’t that a wonderful thing? And it’s not a drug, so I love it,” she added.
