Hallmark fans are still recovering from the series finale of The Way Home, which aired on June 7. While the network’s decision not to renew the show for a fifth season still has fans feeling disappointed, one star from the show just revealed she’s celebrating in her personal life for a very good reason. Sadie Laflamme-Snow, who played Alice on the series, just got engaged.
Laflamme-Snow, 26, shared the exciting news in an Instagram post on August 30. All she put in the caption was a diamond ring emoji, and that was all that The Way Home fans needed.
The first of several photos that Laflamme-Snow included showed her drinking a glass of wine while her new fiancé, Cameron Martin, held her close. Her left hand was placed such that her engagement ring was visible, but not overtly obvious.
Another photo that she included showed her eating an enormous piece of pizza, and grease from the pizza ran down her hand. The shot provided another look at the Hallmark star’s engagement ring, which was a stunning contrast to the pizza.

According to Glam, Martin is an actor and opera singer. The couple began dating in 2023, and they tend to keep their relationship fairly private. While Martin has an Instagram page, there are no posts on it.
Martin pops up on Laflamme-Snow’s Instagram page occasionally, and the two seem to love traveling together.
Laflamme-Snow first introduced Martin as her boyfriend to the public in a July 2023 Instagram post, when she posted several photos taken as the two were visiting Vancouver Island.
Before announcing their engagement, it appears the last time she included Martin in an Instagram post was in December 2025, as the two celebrated a snowy holiday season.
The engagement news prompted a big flood of love from Hallmark fans as well as at least one of Laflamme-Snow’s co-stars.
Chyler Leigh, who played Alice’s mom, Kat Landry, gushed, “So happy for my lil baby bird. THAT RING.”
One fan wrote, “It’s like watching our little Alice grow up outside of a tv screen.”
Another comment read, “SCREAMINGGGG. CONGRATS!! So so beyond happy for you!! THESE PICTURES ARE ADORABLE.”
Several fans commented on how much they loved the pizza shot, in particular, and were truly excited for the newly engaged pair.
