Cameron and Madden also talked with People about the exciting news. “It’s going to change everything in our lives. Our parents gave us a great life, and I want us to give this little baby an even greater life,” he said.
He added, “I’m excited. Being a parent is the most important job in the world.”
The couple got engaged in August, and they told People they learned about the pregnancy shortly after. In fact, Madden revealed, it was the same night.
“The night we got back from getting engaged, I took the test,” Madden shared. When she saw it was positive, she told her new fiance, “You’re not going to believe this.”
The couple, who are both 33, have been together for several years, and they shared that they weren’t entirely shocked by the pregnancy. She explained they had a mindset of “whatever happens, happens.” However, she added, “It happened very quickly.”
