Bobby is officially set to return to Tracker after missing from several episodes of the show! The exciting news was revealed in photos released by CBS ahead of the show’s upcoming season 2, episode 16, which will air in two weeks.

After missing episodes 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 of Tracker, Eric Graise‘s beloved character will officially be back in action, and, from the looks of it, will this time be taking on a bone-chilling case with his team in an area that is referred to as the “deadzone.”

One photo shared by CBS showed Randy and his cousin Bobby chatting while working together on a mission with Colter Shaw in the upcoming episode titled “The Mercy Seat.” Randy stood above Bobby, who was sitting down at a desk. It appeared Randy was smiling while talking to Bobby in the tech studio.

The logline of the episode that will feature Bobby’s return said, “Colter helps an old friend with a search and rescue mission for two missing sisters in the snowy Montana wilderness. Meanwhile, Reenie gets a visit from a new client that challenges her morality.” Tracker season 2, episode 16, will air on Sunday, April 13, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

The trailer for the episode has already given fans a glimpse of what’s to come for the group, as Colter will take a rather snowy path to help solve a case. Randy was featured in the trailer for the upcoming episode and many were hoping Bobby would be featured in the episode despite not being in the trailer! Luckily, fans have finally gotten their wish for Bobby’s return after the character took some time away from work.

Randy mentioned in the season 2, episode 16,  trailer that Colter will be heading into what folks call the “Deadzone Wilderness,” which sounds incredibly dangerous. But if there’s one thing we know about Colter, it’s that he never shows fear when faced with a challenge, whether it’s navigating difficult terrain or a particularly mysterious case. Fans will likely just be happy that the Tracker team will be back together again!

Bobby’s whereabouts were mentioned twice by the character’s on the show before his return.

In episode 15, Colter and Randy talked about how Bobby was absent from work because he was away dealing with a family matter. One of his close friends, who was like a brother to him, had passed away. Bobby had to attend the funeral and was taking some time to process things. Colter mentioned that he had texted Bobby and was still waiting for his response. Randy hinted that Bobby would be coming back to work soon, saying, “He’ll get back to it. And if he doesn’t, I’ll make sure he does. No way out but through.”

Speculation first grew that Bobby would be returning at some point in season 2 when cast member Fiona Rene hinted that he and Randy, played by Chris Lee, would have a scene together.

“I mean, can we just talk about Randy for a second? I love Chris Lee with everything in my body. He’s been such a wonderful addition to the Bobby dynamic, and I am very excited to see them together,” the actress, who portrays Reenie Greene on Tracker, told TV Insider in a March 6 interview.
