Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk Want to Be ‘Civil’ Coparents for Their Daughter Lea

Just because Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk broke up doesn’t mean that they’re going to stop being amazing parents to their 2-year-old daughter, Lea.

“They both want to keep it civil for [her] sake,” a source recently revealed to Us Weekly about Bradley and Irina’s coparenting plans. “They’ll coordinate to make sure their daughter is always with one parent. When Lea has important events in her life, both Bradley and Irina will be there.”

Since Bradley, 44, and Irina, 33, “both work and have a nanny,” the insider said the former couple plan on splitting custody of Lea to make it easier on her. However, news of Bradley and Irina splitting up shouldn’t exactly come as a surprise.

“It was obvious their romantic relationship was over,” a different source previously explained to Us. Another insider told In Touch Weekly that the young lovers “never had a strong foundation to begin with,” and have “very little in common.”

“[They] both have busy lives and careers which has made the process very long and drawn out,” the source said about their separation. Not only that, but the actor’s hit film with Lady Gaga, A Star Is Born, apparently had a “major impact” on the relationship and the Russian beauty felt ignored.

“Even though there was nothing romantic between Bradley and Gaga, the noise was difficult for Irina to deal with,” another insider recently said to Us Weekly. It also didn’t help that Bradley put A Star Is Born above their relationship.

“Bradley wasn’t able to be the partner Irina needed during the filming and promoting of A Star Is Born,” another source told Us. “He was so focused on making sure it was perfect.”

Even though they aren’t together anymore, we’re so glad that they’re doing everything they they can for their sweet baby girl!
