Frank — who passed away from a heart attack in 1998 at age 82 — lived in the lavish villa in the 1970s and often hosted famous Rat Pack members such as Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop at the home.

During the home's construction — which began in 1967 and was completed in 1970 — the "Come Fly With Me" singer worked with the abode's designers to customize the gourmet kitchen. He also chose bespoke fixtures and fittings for many other rooms in the house.
