Hugh Jackman Rescues His Two Children From a Dangerous Riptide
Hugh Jackman saves the day!
During a family vacation in Australia, the 47-year-old X-Men star rescued his two children, Oscar, 15, and Ava, 10, from a dangerous ocean riptide, which was caught on camera.
"Hugh and his family are 100 percent fine," the actor's rep said in a statement to E! News. "It looks a lot more dramatic than it was."

Hugh was enjoying a chat in the water with My Kitchen Rules star Lynzey Murphy when the siblings were dragged out to sea. He immediately began swimming and pulled the two safely back to shore.

After the traumatic event, Hugh and his children were reunited with his wife and their mother, ** Deborra-Lee Furness**. "He was pretty level headed," Lynzey told The Daily Telegraph. "If you start freaking out in front of your children it is only going to make it worse."
