Kate Hudson Is Pregnant With Baby No. 3 — and She’s Having a Little Girl!

Surprise! Kate Hudson and her boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa, are expecting a little girl! The actress took to Instagram on Friday, April 6 to reveal to her fans why she’s been missing from her social media channels lately — she’s been having severe morning sickness.

“If you’ve wondered why I’ve been so absent on my social channels, it’s because I have never been more sick! [It has been] the most sick first trimester of all my children. Boomerangs have made me nauseous, Superzoom is an easy way to have my head in the toilet, food instagrams make me [queasy] and thinking too much about Instagram Stories made me even more exhausted than I already had been,” Kate, 38, began her caption of an adorable gender reveal video — watch below!

“If you’ve seen me out and about smiling and pretending like everything is amazing… I was lying! BUT! I have broken through on the other end of [morning sickness] and [am now] rediscovering the joys of Instagram and Snapchat. We have been trying to keep this pregnancy under the radar for as long as possible but I’m a poppin’ now! And it’s too darn challenging to hide, and frankly hiding is more exhausting then just coming out with it! My kids, Danny, myself, and the entire family are crazy excited! A little girl on the way,” she concluded the post.

Last month, a source told Life & Style that the actress was ready for baby No. 3. Kate — who’s already mom to son Ryder, 14, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and son Bingham, 6, with ex Matt Bellamy — was hoping for a girl this time around. “Kate’s coming up on her 39th birthday in April and she’s been telling friends that she wants another child. Danny’s on the same page. They want a baby together,” the source shared. Not only was Danny on board with the idea, but Ryder and Bingham were too — although they had their fingers crossed for a boy.

Kate and Danny met more than 10 years ago while she was pregnant with Ryder. She explained in an Instagram post on their one-year anniversary that his sisters are her best friends so they have been running “in the same circle for over a decade!” She reminisced about their first date — which she didn’t realize was even a date at the time — and how things quickly changed in the months afterward.

Although it took a couple of weeks to figure out their feelings for each other, it’s not all that shocking that Kate and Danny are getting married and having a baby together after understanding their history. The source told Life & Style, “Kate feels that she’s found her soulmate.” Congrats to the happy couple on their pregnancy!
