Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Joke They ‘Ruined’ Daughter Lola’s 18th Birthday After She Walked in on Them Having Sex

Yikes! Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos joked that they “ruined” their daughter Lola Consuelos‘ 18th birthday — which happened to also fall on Father’s Day on Sunday, June 16 — after she accidentally walked in on her parents having sex.

“I’m going to be honest: I was not in the mood,” the 48-year-old beauty explained alongside her handsome hubby, who was cohosting Live! With Kelly & Ryan on Monday, June 17. “There was a house full of people.”

Although Mark joked that Kelly was “going through the motions,” the 48-year-old hunk explained that the two went about their scandalous act anyways. “It was Father’s Day!” he hilariously insisted as the audience erupted in laughter.

While recalling the extremely awkward encounter, the beloved TV personality explained that their daughter, Lola, walked in on them having sex after refusing to knock. Mark hoped his little girl didn’t see anything, but Kelly revealed she “made eye contact” with her. “She shuts the door and you hear, ‘You just ruined my birthday! And my life! And I used to see in color and now everything is gray,'” Kelly hysterically recalled.

After the uncomfortable ordeal, Kelly and Mark — who are also parents to 22-year-old Michael Consuelos and 16-year-old Joaquin Consuelos — headed to brunch with their three kids and in-laws. Trying to be discrete in front of their parents, the All My Children actress dished that Lola wasn’t ready to let it go.

“She goes, ‘You guys have no chill,'” Mark recited. “‘You act like you’re 20, but you’re not.'” The situation only got worse when Michael and Joaquin picked up on the conversation and began sharing stories of the times they walked in on their parents.

“Nobody knocks in our house,” Kelly insisted, despite Lola’s claims that she did. “Lola’s like, ‘I knocked. You can’t hear me because you’re deaf from exercise class,’ which may or may not be true.”
