Is Kelly Ripa trying to tell us something? The morning talk show host shared a photo of herself rubbing a faux baby bump on her Live! co-host Ryan Seacrest after the show on Wednesday, Jan. 31, and now fans are convinced she may be pregnant!
“#BabyDaddy??,” she captioned the rather odd photo. Her followers immediately took to the comments to express their mixed feelings on the snap. One wrote, “For a moment I thought maybe Kelly was going to announce she was pregnant!”

However, many had another theory — that perhaps Ryan’s girlfriend, Shayna Taylor, is expecting! “I swear I thought Ryan was going to announce he and his girlfriend were expecting a baby! Kelly, you seemed extra perky and happy today and I thought for sure there was going to be an announcement!” Another added, “So, is someone pregnant?! Ryan’s girlfriend?”
Kelly, 47, nor Ryan, 43, confirmed any baby news, and many of the viewers understood that the two were just being their normal funny selves and trying to tell a joke because they had Chrissy Teigen, who is pregnant, as a guest on the show today!
Kelly has been married to Mark Consuelos since 1996, and the couple is parents to three kids: Michael, 20, Lola, 16, and Joaquin, 14. But just because her kids are older doesn’t mean this is the first time Kelly has put her social media followers into a frenzy over potential baby news!
Last February, the blonde beauty posed holding a baby on Instagram leading many fans to believe she’d been hiding something the nine months prior. Turns out, it was just her friend’s child!
And even though baby No. 4 might not be on Kelly and Mark’s radar, Kelly has joked in the past that her hubby is “mean” to her after sex. “When there’s special married couple time in our house — do you know what I’m talking about? Because there are kids watching, so I’m just going to say, let’s call it special grownup time. He’s immediately mean to me afterward, and I don’t like that!” she confessed. “I think it’s bizarre. He becomes short with me. You know what I mean? Like irritated.” Too funny!
