Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick’s Son Travis Bacon Grew up So Fast (Where Did the Time Go?!)

And just like that, Travis Bacon isn't a little kid anymore! Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick hit the red carpet with their adult son in NYC on Monday, July 17 — and we can't get over how grown up Travis looks in the new pics!

While attending a screening of the new lifetime original movie Story of a Girl — which Kevin stars in and Kyra directed! — Travis' monochromatic black outfit perfectly coordinated with his famous parents' matching ensembles.

Kyra, 51, and Kevin, 59, welcomed 28-year-old Travis, their eldest child, back in 1989. The couple are also parents to a 25-year-old daughter, Sosie Bacon. Though Sosie didn't join her parents and sibling on the NYC red carpet, she also has a small part in Story of a Girl — how cool!

In a recent interview with Closer Weekly, Kevin gushed about being a father-of-two. "The proudest accomplishment of my life is my children. Being a parent [means] bringing them up and trying to teach them and have them learn by example to be good, decent, compassionate, hardworking people," he said.

"We didn’t have the kind of relationship with our kids where we would say, ‘You’ve got to do this.' Our kids are very independent," the Footloose star continued. "My son refused to let me teach him how to ride a bike or how to swim. Those are dangerous things! But both my children were a lot like me when I was a kid — they didn’t really come to us for advice or help."

Though Kevin and Kyra tried to shield their kids from the Hollywood spotlight during their upbringing, both Travis and Sosie are now working in the entertainment biz. Travis is a musician and Sosie is an actress.

"We can talk about acting and the industry, and it’s really fun," Kevin said of his relationship with his daughter. "It’s cool because we have this new line of communication."
