Meghan Markle Steps Out for Fun Night on the Town in NYC With BFF Serena Williams

Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle is living it up in New York City! On Tuesday, February 19, she stepped out for a night on the town with her longtime friends Jessica Mulroney, Markus Anderson and professional tennis player Serena Williams to celebrate her pregnancy after her girlfriends threw her an amazing baby shower earlier that day.

An eyewitness told Closer Weekly that Meghan, 37, and her friends dined at the Polo Bar around 7 p.m. last evening and Marcus — who reportedly first introduced Meghan to her now-husband Prince Harry! — escorted her into the restaurant through a side door. Meghan also arrived at the eatery in one of three black SUVs that lined the street as the duchess dined inside. For the special outing, Meg looked ready to party in a navy blue Victoria Beckham coat, $248 “Nearly Skinny Maternity” jeans by Hatch Maternity and $695 Tamara Mellon boots.

Although one of Meghan’s former Suits costars, Abigail Spencer, didn’t attend the lavish Polo Bar dinner, she did go to Meghan’s baby shower earlier on Tuesday which was held at The Mark Hotel. Before the shower, a team of florists was also spotted delivering hundreds of colorful pink, yellow and orange flowers to the hotel, which led many royal fans to believe that Meghan could possibly be having a little girl.

“We are keeping it as a surprise,'” Meghan previously told a royal fan about her baby’s gender, but if Meghan does happen to welcome a little girl, it would be great news to her husband, Harry, 34. The Duke of Sussex revealed to royal onlookers during his first joint tour with Meghan this past October, that he’s hoping to have baby girl with his wife.

Meghan also said that she and Harry have been carefully thinking about baby names for their first child, too. “We’ve been given a long list of names from everyone. We’re going to sit down and have a look at them,” she previously told a fan during their royal tour. We can’t for Baby Sussex to arrive!
