Ashton Kutcher Says Daughter Wyatt Knows Three Languages While Baby Dimitri “Sounds Like a Pterodactyl”

In a candid new interview, Ashton Kutcher opened up about his two children — and revealed his two-year-old daughter, Wyatt, already speaks three languages while his baby son, Dimitri, “sounds like a pterodactyl!”
“It’s weird because girls advance apparently faster than boys. I didn’t know this… My daughter is like two and a half, she speaks three languages, she’s got like Russian and Spanish and English. She actually understands and speaks them,” Ashton said during a Wednesday, June 21 appearance on The Tonight Show.

“The boy is just like a ‘thuck.’ Just a chunky, like, ‘BAAHHH!’ He sounds like a pterodactyl, and he’s not coming around,” the 39-year-old actor joked of his infant son.

“Wyatt, I had her [saying] ‘papa’ at four months,” he continued. “She was like, ‘Papa, papa’ and I was like, ‘Aw.’ The boy is like, ‘BAHHHHH.'”
This isn’t the first time Ashton has shared a funny story about his two children with wife Mila Kunis, 33. In early May, the What Happens in Vegas star revealed Wyatt wants “to kill” her seven-month-old baby brother.
“He loves everyone. Anyone comes near him and he’s like, ‘Hi!'” Ashton said during a sit-down on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
“But when Wyatt comes near him… he’s like Kung Fu Panda when she comes near. He’s afraid she’s going to kill him,” he joked. “I went through a phase where I had to keep Wyatt alive, and then I went through a phase where I had to keep her from killing herself, and now I’m going through a phase where I have to keep her from killing the other baby.”
“She loves this baby — maybe more than me,” Mila’s handsome husband continued. “It’s, like, borderline.”
Mila and Ashton — who previously co-starred on That 70s Show together from 1998 until 2006 — first became an item in April 2012. They later announced their engagement in February 2014 and tied the knot in July 2015 in Oak Glen, CA.

The couple welcomed daughter Wyatt in October 2014 and son Dimitri in November 2016. Ashton’s marriage to Mila is his second — he was formerly hitched to actress Demi Moore, 54, from 2005 until 2013.

The couple were photographed with Dimitri and Wyatt walking out of Soho House restaurant. For the fun family outing, Mila was dressed-down in a pair of ripped jeans, gray sneakers, a black and white T-shirt and a coordinating gray coat. Ashton was similarly casual in jeans, sneakers, a plaid, button-down shirt and a navy blue sweater.
In a recent interview, Ashton admitted he was “worried” about having a second baby with wife Mila. “The first one, I was almost like a doula. I was reading every book. I was ready. I had a catcher’s mitt on,” he said during a Tonight Show sit-down in early October.

“This one, I haven’t done anything. I’m like, ‘Well, we already didn’t break the first one.’ They’re really durable. They don’t break very easily. You have to really try to break them,” he continued.

Prior to giving birth to son Dimitri, Mila similarly opened up about her family life — and revealed she and Ashton are committed to raising non-entitled kids. “We [are] teaching [them] from a very early age that, ‘Mommy and daddy may have a dollar but you’re poor,'” the Black Swan star once said.

“We both came from pretty solid poverty backgrounds and grew up very poor. Nothing’s been handed to us,” she added. “On one hand it’s beautiful, they’ll never know what it’s like to have ketchup soup for dinner but they’ll never know how to appreciate things.”
