“They’re a happy little family,” an insider exclusively told Closer in August 2020, noting Sandra and Bryan have created a “quiet life together” since they started dating in 2015. The L.A.-based photographer has bonded so much with Louis and Laila that they refer to “Bryan [as] their father and he calls them his children.”

The Ocean’s 8 star and Bryan “consider themselves a solid, committed, family unit” despite having yet to say “I do,” another source explained to Closer in June 2019. And even though Sandra started her adopted family before falling in love with the handsome hunk, “there’s no doubt that he’s Louis and Laila’s dad.”

“They don’t talk about their relationship status that much, but it’s pretty clear what they have is a very special bond,” the insider added, noting despite not being officially married, “Bryan proudly wears a wedding band on his wedding finger.”

Sandra and the California native became a couple after she hired Bryan to shoot photos at Louis’ 5th birthday party. The Blind Side star — who adopted her son in 2010 — completely hit it off with Bryan, and after adopting Laila later in 2015, the two began raising the kiddos together.

“Bryan couldn’t be more involved in their upbringing,” the second source dished, pointing out how much Louis and Laila “adore” their dad. “Sandra still pinches herself that she’s been so lucky finding Bryan.”

Prior to falling in love with the photo guru, the Oscar winner was married to her ex-husband, Jesse James, from 2005 to 2010. Since their turbulent divorce, Sandra doesn’t have any interest in “another marriage,” but “Bryan is fine with that,” a third insider told Closer more recently in July 2021.

“They’re mature adults and they understand each other,” the source explained, noting “they’re unofficially married, but definitely lifetime committed. He’s her soulmate … she says he’s just the best man she knows. She’s not letting him go.”
