‘Survivor’ Host Jeff Probst Reveals His Dream Celebrity Contestant: ‘He’s So Clever’

While Survivor has yet to feature a celebrity season, host Jeff Probst already has his pick for which Hollywood star could take home the win.

“Adam Scott,” Probst, 64, told E! News at PaleyLive’s: The Tribe Has Spoken event on Tuesday, March 10. “We text a lot about the show. He’s so clever. I know he’s got a big career, but I would love to watch him play because I think he’d do really well.”

Scott, 52, has been open about his love for the long-running competition reality show, and earlier this year, the Severance star revealed that he has “a whole strategy laid out.” However, he’s not as confident in his ability to outwit, outplay and outlast as Probst is.

“I would crumble after a couple of days of sleeping outside and not eating,” Scott admitted to Adam Horowitz, host the Happy, Sad, Confused podcast at the Golden Globes. “I think I would just be voted off immediately for any of the above reasons, but it’s one of my favorite shows.”

Fans of Survivor have also spotted Scott in the audience during the finale of seasons 22 and 35, and he spoke about attending on social media.

“Yes, I was at the Survivor finale. @JeffProbst is super cool and invited me,” the Step Brothers actor wrote via X in 2011.
