Could there be another Rocky film added to the franchise? Well, Sylvester Stallone already has quite the idea for a new movie.

“I have a great idea for Rocky. He finds this fella who’s in the country illegally and it becomes a whole thing. It would be really phenomenal, really different,” the 72-year-old said while at the Cannes Film Festival. “It’s like a magician. Once you’ve seen how he does the tricks you’re not impressed any more. It’s the same thing with Rocky. You’ve seen everything, so you’re like, ‘How can it be different?’ That would be different.”

He added, “When you take him and throw him out of the country and he’s in another world. It could work. But I ain’t gonna do it.” While the Rocky franchise come across as political today, the actor admitted that was never his intention.

“Rocky is a simple man who grew up in that kind of mentality. That’s just the way it was back then,” Sylvester said. “Everyone was super patriotic growing up. And that’s just the way he is. He’s not a political animal. So when he wraps the flag around him, he thinks he’s doing a good thing.”

He added, “Whenever boxers lift up the flag of their nation, it’s just automatic. They’re not saying, ‘We’re better than you.’ It’s what they were trained to do. So I never took it as a confrontational thing.”

The Oscar winner attended the festival with his wife, Jennifer Flavin, 50, and his daughter, Sistine Rose Stallone. He offered an early look at his upcoming movie Rambo V — Last Blood, which he co-wrote.

Aside from Sistine, the Cliffhanger star also has two other daughters, Sophia, 22, and Scarlett, 17, with his current wife. It is not all girls for Sly, as he has two sons, Sage and Seargeoh, from his first marriage to photographer and director Sasha Czack. Sage tragically passed away in 2012 at the age of 36.

It will be interesting to see if Sylvester ultimately decides to bring forth another Rocky film.
