Vanna White Stuns in Rare Cooking Video With Handsome Son Nikko Santo Pietro: ‘He’s Gorgeous’

Vanna White and her son, Nikko Santo Pietro, just proved that they have the best bond! The mother-son pair shared an Instagram video where they cooked a yummy meal together in the kitchen.

“First of all, I am not a good cook. But fortunately, my son, Nikko, is,” Vanna, 67, explained in the video, which was posted on Monday, December 2. “So, he’s going to make one of my favorite dishes. We call it ‘Uncle Roy’s chicken’ because when we were back east in New York, he made that and I fell in love with it. And Nikko learned how to make it and he does it just as good as Uncle Roy.”

Nikko, 30, is a Los Angeles-based real estate agent. He showed that he was a total pro in the kitchen, sharing tips and tricks on how to peel ginger and cut onions without crying. But he did admit to making a little snafu while making the chicken recipe — forgetting to add salt!

“I was so caught up in the moment, we forgot to salt it. So, we’re gonna add a little salt,” he said with a smile on his face. “This is Vanna’s least favorite part because she does not like salt. So, close your eyes, mom.”

After putting the dish in the oven, Nikko and Vanna gave it a taste test. And they were both happily pleased with how it turned out, sharing the written recipe at the end of the video for everyone to enjoy.

“Vanna where have you been hiding Nikko ? He’s GORGEOUS,” one person asked in a comment under the video, while another said, “Nikko is literally great at everything.”

In addition to Nikko, Vanna also shares daughter Gigi Santo Pietro with ex-husband George Santo Pietro, whom she was married to from 1990 to 2002.

Last month, Nikko shared a sweet video on Instagram while going to visit his mother on the set of Wheel of Fortune.

“Growing up with such a loving mother is the greatest blessing of my life,” he captioned the November 18 Instagram post. “I am incredibly grateful for her & everything she does. Visiting the set of Wheel of Fortune and seeing where I built some of my core memories is always a beautiful experience.”

Wheel of Fortune season 42 kicked off in the fall, with Ryan Seacrest taking over hosting duties for Pat Sajak. While promoting the show, Vanna gave her kids a sweet shout-out.

“I love bragging! My son works at a real estate agency, and he does a great job. He is dedicated and he’s hungry to make deals close,” she told Parade on September 20. My daughter went to New York University and graduated with an art degree. Now she’s a very good tattoo artist. She loves putting her art on someone’s body that will be there forever. The work she does is beautiful.”

The mom of two explained that spending time with her kids has always remained her priority.

“I’m a simple person. I dress up only for work. I love to crochet, and I do it as often as I can. Both my kids moved back to Los Angeles when COVID hit, so I spend time with them and my boyfriend,” Vanna, who has been dating John Donaldson since 2012, said.
