‘Webster’ Star Susan Clark Looks Unrecognizable During Rare Outing Running Errands in California

Susan Clark, best known for starring as Katherine Papadopolis in the hit ’80s sitcom Webster, looked unrecognizable during a recent outing in Los Angeles.

The retired actress, 83, was spotted while out for lunch followed by a quick grocery run in photographs obtained by the Daily Mail on Thursday, September 24.

Clark wore black trousers and a floral-print top paired with a black-and-red jacket. She completed the look with a large brimmed hat to protect her skin from the California sun.

Born in Ontario, Canada, as Nora Golding, Clark made her big-screen debut in 1967 sports drama, Banning, alongside stars like Robert Wagner and Gene Hackman.

Her career took off, and by 1975, she had earned an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for her role as Babe Didrickson Zaharias in the television film Babe. The following year she was nominated again for playing Amelia Earhart.

Clark married football player Alex Karras in 1980 after meeting on the set of Babe. They would go on to star together in Webster.

The pair largely stepped away from Hollywood in the early 2000s and led a private life until his death in 2012.
