Alex Rodriguez Jokes He ‘Signed an NDA’ About Double Date With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
His lips are sealed! Alex Rodriguez wouldn’t budge when Jimmy Fallon asked him about a speculated double date with fiancée Jennifer Lopez and royal couple Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The famous baseball star dogged the TV host’s question in the most hilarious way during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
“Did you and Jennifer Lopez recently go on a double date with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle?” Jimmy, 45, asked Alex, 44, while playing a game on the Monday, March 9 episode of the hit late night show. “And if so, who paid?”
Before the former New York Yankee dished any details, he decided to remain tight-lipped. “I signed an NDA … non-disclosure,” he joked with a laugh. “I’ll take that as you did,” Jimmy hilariously replied.
It seems the royal couple — who announced their plans to step back as senior members of Queen Elizabeth‘s royal family in early January — wasn’t the only topic that was off-limits. Also during the game, Jimmy wondered if Alex and the “Jenny From the Block” songstress would have a “choreographed dance” at their wedding.
“NDA,” the baseball star quipped. “I can’t talk about the wedding, I wanna be able to get home!” LOL!
Although Alex — who is the proud dad of daughters Natasha, 15, and Ella, 11 — played coy about details regarding their upcoming nuptials, fans have been dying to get a glimpse inside their wedding preparations.
Their Hollywood love story became all the more real when the Second Act star, who shares 11-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex-husband Marc Anthony, and Alex celebrated the first anniversary of their engagement. As fans remember, the Back in the Game host asked for Jen’s hand in marriage during a vacation in March 2019.
“One year ago on a beach in the Bahamas, I was a nervous wreck, more nervous than my entire playing career, I got down on one knee and asked you a question … You said yes,” he gushed alongside a montage on March 10. “Jennifer, every moment with you is a blessing. You are my best friend, my inspiration, an amazing mother, and a role model to all. Macha, I am so lucky to be with you. Thank you for making my life better. I can’t wait to make more memories with you. I love you. #HappyAnniversary.”
