Alex Rodriguez Is ‘So Excited’ to See Jennifer Lopez Headline the 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show
Such an honor! This football season, Jennifer Lopez will be bringing her It’s My Party tour home to perform during the halftime show at the 2020 Super Bowl and we couldn’t be any more proud of her. In fact, J. Lo’s fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, could barely contain his joy once he found out the good news.
“So proud and SO EXCITED! Bringing it home! Going to set the #305 on ?,” he gushed via Instagram. “Going to set the world on ???.”
However, the 50-year-old beauty, is not the only one who’s set to take the stage during the halftime show. Her friend and fellow singer, Shakira, is going to headline the event as well. “Get ready ? 02.02.20,” the Colombian native wrote via Instagram.
If J. Lo’s performance is going to be anything like the concerts she gives on tour, then we’re in for a real treat. After all, the “Jenny from the Block” singer has some serious stamina!
“I have always taken pretty good care of myself. I make sure I do intensive workouts at least three or four days a week, not because I’m in love with training but because I can see the results and I feel a lot better when I’m in shape,” she recently explained about her workout routine to The Sun. “As you get older, it’s even more important to put in the extra hours of training to keep your body toned.”
Jennifer knows exactly what she’s talking about! She recently shut down Milan Fashion Week when she walked down the runway in a dress that looked very similar to her iconic 2000 Grammy Awards gown. Not only did she wear that dress like it was only made for her, but her body looked incredible in it too.
“I’ve taken care of myself, and now it shows,” she previously dished to InStyle. But no matter how hard Jennifer works out, she’ll never get rid of her curves. “I didn’t realize what I was doing — I was just being myself. In my family, curves were glorified and part of the culture. It was just like, ‘Jennifer has a big butt, and it’s good,'” she said.
When Jennifer takes the stage alongside Shakira, you can bet A-Rod won’t miss a minute of it!
