Andy Cohen Shares Adorable Photo of Baby Benjamin Getting Kissed By His Dog Wacha

Life is great for Andy Cohen! On Wednesday, February 20 — aka National Love Your Pet Day — the doting dad posted a cute photo to Instagram of his beloved dog Wacha getting cozy with his newborn son, Benjamin, at home.

“Many have asked how @therealwacha & his brother are getting along. Here you go! ? ?,” he wrote in the caption, and his fans seemed to love the photo just as much as the 50-year-old Bravo host. “Nothing better than a doggy kiss!!!” one of Andy’s fans commented, and another said, “Awww. Every child deserves to grow up with a dog. Teaches live, empathy, responsibility …”

Although Wacha and Benjamin seem to be getting along great, Andy recently had to defend his dog on social media after his haters claimed that Wacha was jealous of Benjamin because he destroyed one of the baby’s toys. “Okay, flooded with DMs from people saying I’ve got a big problem on my hands,” Andy said in a video that he shared to his Instagram Story. “Wacha didn’t know that the Torah toy, we’re talking about a Torah toy, belonged to the baby. He just had his eye on a purple f–king toy and he wanted to rip it apart … It’s not that deep. Stand down. Everything’s fine in the West Village.”

Andy added that it’s not OK to shame someone for their parenting, especially when they don’t know the whole story. “Hey, I’ve been a dad for 12 days, people are judgy as f–k,” he admitted. “We gotta be careful, OK? Sometimes a Torah toy is just a Torah toy everybody, right?”

Thankfully, all is well in the Cohen household because baby Benjamin and Andy’s adorable pooch Wacha seem to already be the best of friends. “Family means everything to me and having one of my own is something I’ve wanted in my heart for my entire life,” Andy previously said on Instagram about welcoming baby Benjamin. “And while it has taken me longer than most to get there, I cannot wait for what I envision will be my most rewarding chapter yet!”
