Blake Lively Reminisces on Her Toned Abs Prior to Giving Birth to Her 3 Kids: ‘I Miss Us’

As Blake Lively went to share a photo to promote her upcoming movie, The Rhythm Section, she couldn’t help but get sidetracked as she came across a photo of her abs. Reflecting on her pre-baby body, the Gossip Girl actress joked about missing her slim figure.

“Looking for a good pic of me and @sterlingkbrown, but my abs look so good here,” the 32-year-old wrote alongside a photo of herself in the highly anticipated thriller — which is set to hit theaters on January 31 — via her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, January 22. “Dear abs, I miss us,” she hilariously added.

In the photo, Blake — who gave birth to her and husband Ryan Reynolds‘ third child around last summer — can be seen laying on a bed next to costar Sterling K. Brown. The A Simple Favor star’s toned midsection was on full display as she donned a sports bra.

Although Blake had no problem fawning over her fit physique, the actress has remained tight-lipped regarding details of her newborn baby. Despite sharing a single picture of the couple holding their little baby girl, Ryan, 43, and Blake have yet to reveal her name or date of birth.

Since welcoming their newest addition, the proud parents — who are also the mom and dad of daughters James, 5, and Inez, 3 — have never been happier. In fact, a source close to the longtime lovebirds, who tied the knot in 2012, opened up about how they juggle parenting and their full-time Hollywood careers.

“Running around after three young kids isn’t easy for anyone, but Ryan and Blake are amazing parents and make it work,” the insider exclusively shared with Closer Weekly around December 2019. “It’s a joint effort!”

Blake and Ryan aren’t the only ones who “can’t take their eyes off their new addition,” the source explained, noting the tot’s big sisters are thrilled over her arrival. “[James and Inez] adore their little sister. There haven’t been any jealous issues at all!”

Even though a third baby can be a little overwhelming, the Age of Adaline actress and the Deadpool actor couldn’t feel luckier. “They feel blessed that she is such a good baby,” the insider noted. “She is already starting to sleep through the night!”

The source even commended the Detective Pikachu hunk for stepping up for his wife. “Ryan’s a fantastic, hands-on dad,” they gushed. “He’ll often volunteer to do diaper duty or watch the kids if Blake needs some ‘me time.’”
