Why Harrison Chase Has ‘General Hospital’ Fans in a Fury

General Hospital fans are as ready as Tracy to send Chase packing and on his way. The former police detective, demoted to beat cop, can’t seem to see what’s right in front of his face. Or maybe he does and doesn’t want to do anything about it, which puts him in an even worse position with fans. Either way, Chase hasn’t earned any brownie points over the last week.

Detective Chase Can’t Stay Away From Willow

Chase (Josh Swickard) just can’t imagine that the sweet school teacher he was once in love with and married is now the “viper” that others claim she is. In Chase’s mind, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) can do no wrong, even as she has cheated on everyone she has ever married, including Chase. He nearly ruined his entire career trying to find evidence that Willow didn’t shoot Drew (Cameron Mathison) and came up short. Despite being guilty, Willow was acquitted anyway and Chase believed an unjust wrong had been righted.

Now, Willow is an ever-helpful congresswoman who has gone to bat for Chase and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) in their quest to adopt baby Phoebe. For his part, Chase has been bringing his ex flowers and inviting her on sexy swims, while insisting they are just friends. After watching Willow eye Chase and offer him a lucrative job despite him having no qualifications, Brook Lynn and fans have just about had enough.

“I’m glad Brook Lynn sees what’s going on. But the complete lack of awareness from Chase is astounding. How did he pass the detectives exam the first time?” one General Hospital fan asked on X.

Another fan also can’t believe how Chase would be so blind to what’s right in front of his face, saying, “Brook Lynn still thinks Chase is completely innocent and this is all Willow. Chase is just as much at fault. I don’t think he is very smart but he can’t truly be that stupid.”

Others can’t wait to see Chase experience his own fall from grace, if he ever realizes that his ex is not as pure and perfect as she wants everyone to believe. “Brook Lynn is so done with Willow and Chase stupidity,” one X user said. ” I can’t wait for her to expose Willow,take her down and having stupid Chase losing everything including her when the truth about his perfect Willow coming out. He will crawl back to Brook Lynn, begging to take him back.”

With Brook Lynn enlisting Lucy (Lynn Herring) to help her take care of this situation, Willow and Chase just may learn a lesson yet.
