If you’re thinking of bashing Celine Dion for her body, think again, because the iconic singer is now standing up to the trolls.

“Is there anything wrong about my body,” the hitmaker, 51, asked ET on opening night of her Courage Tour in Quebec, Canada — this statement was followed by her making a muscle. The entertainer has been criticized left and right for looking thinner than usual in recent public appearances.

“I do ballet. I do a lot of stretching and I work out because it helps my mind, body and soul,” Celine revealed to the outlet. “When you go back, when I was 12 years old, my face was rounder because you have more fat when you’re younger … But I’ve always been very thin.” However, the performer understands that in her line of work there will always be people who hate on her.

“If you don’t want to be criticized, you are in the wrong place,” she said. “I take the positive. I take what’s good for me. I leave behind what is not good for me. I let my management take care of that, and if it hurts anyone, they will take care of that. And I need to focus on what’s right for me, how I feel and, last but not least, you can’t please everybody.”

It is no surprise to see how confident Celine is — she has revealed that now that she is in her 50s, she is discovering a lot more things about herself. “My life started over again at 50,” the Grammy winner exclusively told Closer Weekly. “I am a woman assuming her own destiny, full of energy and in love with life. It’s never too late to start.”

“I’ve reached a point in my life where I can let myself make my own decisions and choices,” Celine continued. “I am discovering myself more and more. At 51, I have the sense that I am at my pinnacle!”

Celine is currently on tour, this after wrapping up her Las Vegas residency after 16 years. “I am very excited and I am a little bit emotional at the same time. This is our final show in this beautiful Colosseum in Las Vegas,” she said on the special, but sad night on June 8.

We’re just glad to see that Celine is continuing to live life and not paying attention to the negative remarks!
