Cindy Crawford Has a Good-Looking Family! Meet the Supermodel’s Kids, Kaia and Presley Gerber
One year after Cindy Crawford tied the knot with her second husband, Rande Gerber, in 1998, they welcomed their first child together — son Presley Gerber — into the world.
Two years after Presley was born, Cindy gave birth to the couple’s second child, daughter Kaia Gerber in 2001 with Rande right by her side. As a family of four, Cindy and Rande have found so much joy in raising their kids to be amazing people.
“Kids don’t always listen, but they are always watching what you do. If you’re polite to people, they learn to be polite. If you make family time a priority, they don’t even question spending time together. If I’m constantly berating myself in front of them — I look old, I have more wrinkles every year, I can’t have that dessert because I’ll get fat — then they learn to do the same thing,” she told W in 2018. “You lead by example.”
With a supermodel mama and a former model as a dad, it’s no wonder Rande and Cindy’s children would eventually go on to work in the modeling industry. Once Kaia and Presley were ready to start their own careers, Cindy took on a role as their momager.
“They have agents, but I would say for the first year, for sure, everything was 100 percent through me,” Cindy told Town and Country in 2018. “Eventually I want to empower them to be in charge of their own careers, but they’re not ready for that yet. Right now they’re mostly, ‘Mom, just tell me what to do.’”
She added with a laugh, “Mom, as you might imagine, is fine with that.”
The Fair Game actress has done a great job nurturing her children’s careers and her hard work has helped them become successful. Presley made his fashion show runway debut at 16 years old for Moschino Cruise 2017 in Los Angeles and went on to appear in Carolina Herrera’s Spring 2019 campaign. He also snagged the cover of GQ Style Mexico that same year.
As for Kaia, she made her highly anticipated runway debut at Calvin Klein’s Spring 2018 during New York Fashion Week at age 16. She became the face of Marc Jacobs’ Daisy Love campaign in 2018 and starred as Vogue China‘s December 2020 covergirl.
