Dolly Parton and her husband of almost 50 years Carl Dean are planning on celebrating their huge milestone by renewing their vows in an intimate celebration, she exclusively told Closer Weekly.

“We’ve talked about that — we might do it all over again!” she shares with the mag. “Another big wedding.”

Dolly tells Closer she is thinking about celebrating her 50th anniversary closer to home, “where we have family and friends.”

In fact, she tells the mag that the big day will “probably be at our big old plantation home. We love it there.”

Of course, Carl loves it there just a little bit more than Dolly — the belle of bluegrass has often joked her husband hates the spotlight just as much as she loves it.

In fact, Carl has been photographed out with his wife only a handful of times during their nearly five decades together.

Although Dolly hasn’t worked out the details of her (second) big day yet, which is in 2016, one thing’s for certain: She won’t be planning a destination wedding.

“Carl doesn’t like to fly,” she reveals. “Once many, many years ago, he went with me to Hawaii, and he enjoyed that, but he never wanted to go anywhere else.

“He’s happy staying home and I’m happy traveling,” she explains to Closer.

An unconventional arrangement, perhaps, but the 67-year-old insists that when it comes to the important things in life, like their mutual decision not to have children, she and Carl have always been on the same page. “We’re both pretty much old mountain goats,” Dolly confesses.

Reports emerged yesterday the legendary singer will be headlining famous music festival Glastonbury in England next summer. She is being slated to fill the covetable Legends slot during the three-day event.

Epic rock bands have typically filled that Sunday slot in the past, so Parton is an unconventional choice, though one source tells The Sun newspaper, “Dolly is perfect for the Sunday Legends slot. It didn't take any convincing – she's always wanted to play Glastonbury.”
