Risk-taker! He may be known for yelling at chefs in the kitchen, but Gordon Ramsay also wants people to know that he has another hobby: racing, and he takes it to the extreme.

The 52-year-old recently spoke to The Sun and revealed how much he likes to not only speed in his Ferrari in Italy, but also the feeling that there’s a ‘200mph crash’ risk. “Being vulnerable keeps you hungry and I need that,” he told the outlet. “When I’m on that track I see myself like I did at 30 years of age, pushing to the extreme. Nothing else takes me to that journey anywhere else in life – whether it is diving with f–ing sharks or playing in front of 75,000 people at Soccer Aid at Old Trafford.”

He added, “There is nothing else that gets me to that point in my life thinking: ‘S–t, that was a split second away from a 200mph crash.'”

When the TV personality isn’t living life on the edge, he is preparing himself for the birth of his fifth child with his wife of 23 years, Tana.

“Exciting news!” the Hell’s Kitchen star said at the time on a video shared on Instagram. “Happy new year from all the Ramsay’s.” The clip featured the married couple’s four kids, Megan, 21, twins Holly and Jack, both 19, and Matilda, 17. Tana then proceeds to show her growing baby bump.

News of the addition to the family comes after the pair suffered a miscarriage in June 2016. “Hi guys, Tana and I want to thank you so much for your support over the past couple of weeks,” Gordon said, as he shared the heartbreaking and personal moment with people. “We had a devastating weekend as Tana has sadly miscarried our son at five months. We’re together healing as a family, but we want to thank everyone again for all your amazing support and well wishes.”

He added, “I’d especially like to send a big thank you to the amazing team at Portland Hospital for everything they’ve done.”
