Cusack, 63, who has voiced Jessie in four of the five films in the Disney-Pixar franchise, wore a crisp white button-up shirt tucked into a high-waisted black pencil skirt. Her short hair, wispy bangs, and thick-brimmed glasses, helped disguise her identity.
“I realized there’s like a real craft to it,” she told Deadline of voicing the iconic cowgirl character for the last 25 years. “Because you can’t use your face or your body, you just have to use your voice. It’s kind of really hard. Because you don’t hear your voice that way, that potently…This time, I felt like I had the craft for it and I could do it better.”
The Thursday, May 28, outing marked the Runaway Bride star’s first red carpet appearance since Showtime’s Emmy Eve event in 2015.

In 2019, Cusack opened up about stepping away from Hollywood and shared her thoughts about showbiz, telling The New Yorker that “being a celebrity actress isn’t that fun, over and over,” adding: “It’s just not that great of a world, except for being exposed to cool sets and talented, interesting people.”
The Shameless actress was joined on the red carpet by husband Richard Burke, as well as Toy Story co-stars Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Greta Lee. The fifth installment of the beloved franchise hits theaters June 19.
