Heather Locklear Breaks Silence on Lorenzo Lamas Romance, Calls Him ‘Everything’

Heather Locklear is very happy in her new romance with Lorenzo Lamas.

Though the Melrose Place alum, 64, and the Renegade actor, 68, have been dating for months, Locklear spoke about Lamas for the first time during a recent podcast appearance.

On the Monday, June 1, episode of Hollywood & Divine, the Dynasty actress was asked how important it was for faith to play a role in her relationships. She’s been married twice before — to rockers Tommy Lee and Richie Sambora — and she most recently called off her engagement to high school sweetheart Chris Heisser in May.

“My new guy is very… everything,” she said. “He’s very much a big believer.”

Adding that their shared faith adds a new dimension to their relationship, Locklear said, “When I tell this person I love him, I’m really saying, ‘I love you, God.’ Because that’s what happened. It’s from God.”

“I’m [in] the best time I’ve ever been [of my life],” Locklear added. “Although I really liked college!”

Long before Locklear and Lamas started dating, the two posed together for a magazine cover, on which they showed some skin in their swimsuits.

Lamas previously shared a photo of the cover to his X account in December, captioning the post, “I cannot believe that this was 43 years ago! Side note, speedos on request only.”

A source previously told Closer that the two are already looking towards a future together.

“They have known each other for over 40 years, so this is not some new connection,” the source said. “Lorenzo has always had a huge crush on Heather, but the timing has never been right for them. To finally be able to make this fantasy a reality after so long is pretty intoxicating for him.”

“She says she’s finally found her Prince Charming and when he pops the question she plans to say yes, no matter who objects,” the source added.
