Mom-of-four Hilaria Baldwin is no stranger to speaking candidly about her post-baby body on social media. And, on Wednesday, Oct. 3, Alec Baldwin‘s 34-year-old wife again took to Instagram to update her followers on her body’s physical “recovery” nearly five months after she gave birth to her fourth baby, son Romeo, in mid-May.

“The recovery from baby [No. 4] continues… I share my journey and posts here because I believe so strongly that smart exercise, good eating, and a calm mind [equals a] healthy body. And I want you to experience it too because life is so worth living to it’s max… and you are so worth it,” Hilaria captioned a three-way split photo of herself at nine months pregnant, 12 days after giving birth, and four-and-a-half months later.

Earlier this year, Hilaria and Alec, 60, announced the arrival of their fourth child via the yoga instructor and author’s Instagram page. “He’s here! He’s perfect! 8lbs 2oz?#wegotthis2018,” the proud mom captioned the first image of baby Romeo.

Hilaria then returned to Instgram to give her followers an update on her family — she and Alec also share daughter Carmen, 5, and sons Rafael, 3, and Leonardo, 2 — and unfortunately revealed that she was suffering from pneumonia and her three eldest children were also ill.

“It’s been tough getting our new family-of-six oriented with all of the necessary quarantining,” Hilaria wrote on Instagram at the time. “The recovery from birth, the beginnings of breastfeeding again, the sleepless nights, taking care of sick toddlers, doctor visits, my own health… I just keep on saying ‘we got this.'”

After the Baldwins regained their health, Hilaria continued to give her fans health and wellness advice via social media as she bounced back after giving birth. “Every body is different, but I believe in staying as active as possible. There were so many moments when I didn’t want to work out [my last] pregnancy. Showing up is the most difficult challenge. I had to drag myself out and do even a little.”

“Consistency helped me so much though… because the body wants attention and wants to be moved. So important for your circulation, your health, your happiness, and for your strength. I just started being able to workout yesterday,” she continued. “Slow and steady. Nothing crazy. Each birth is different and your doctor will be able to advise you on when you can begin. When you can, be patient with your body. You have been through so much and created something so precious. Know that day by day, movement by movement, you will regain your strength and feel amazing.”
