Hoda Kotb Poses With Ex Joel Schiffman and Daughters in Sweet Photo 3 Years After Their Split

Hoda Kotb once again reunited with her ex Joel Schiffman in a new photo with their kids three years after announcing their breakup.

The exes appeared in a snapshot together that was shared on Hoda’s Instagram account on Thursday, March 27.

“Couple of fun ones ! Xo here’s to family,” she captioned the carousel of photos.

In the photo with Joel, 67, Hoda, 60, wore a red sweater while Joel wore a blue sweatshirt. They both smiled as their daughters, Haley, 8, and Hope, 5, stood in front of them. Hoda wrapped her arms around her youngest daughter in the photo. They were also joined by Hoda’s sister, Hala.

Other pictures shown in the set featured Hoda sitting in what looked to be a school classroom with Hope standing beside her. The Today alum held up a copy of Uni the Unicorn and the Dream Come True. Hope sat next to her dressed in a pastel rainbow outfit, featuring a sequined dress, a cardigan and a colorful headband. Hoda wore friendship bracelets on her wrist and a white button-down shirt with jeans.

Haley and Hope also posed for a photo with Hoda’s brother, Adel, in the broadcaster’s suburban New York home. The last photo featured in the post showed Hoda’s eldest child cuddling up with a teddy bear and smiling at the camera. Haley’s name was embroidered on the teddy bears foot.

In the comments section, some fans pointed out Joel’s presence, while others mentioned how lovely it was to see Hoda being such a great mom and making so many memories with her children.

“Joel is looking quite handsome,” one person commented on the post, while another said, “Happy you are free to enjoy being a mom and your girls.”

“Love seeing this with Joel,” another person remarked.

“Beautiful family,” someone else wrote.

“So happy for you Hoda! You definitely made the right decision,” someone else said, referring to Hoda’s exit from Today in January.

Hoda has shared several glimpses of her time away from Today, some of which have included coparenting with Joel. She first announced her breakup from the financier on Today in January 2022. She said they were “better as friends and parents than we are as an engaged couple” and were focused on coparenting their children as friends.

An insider told Closer that while they are no longer together, they still enjoy each other’s company years after their shocking split.

“Hoda knows they’re no longer a couple, but she feels so happy and thrilled that they can be the best of friends and get together like this as a family and create more wonderful memories with each other and the kids,” the insider said.

“They’ve worked through their differences to coparent and exist peacefully. She and Joel have come to a mutual understanding and they’re in a good place,” the insider added. “She knows he will always be there for her and vice versa. He still gives the best presents ever on any occasion!”
