How Denise Richards Will Make Her Return to ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’
Denise Richards returns as Shauna Fulton on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful,’ shaking up the Spencer family four years after her last appearance on the CBS soap.
It’s been four years since Denise Richards‘ Shauna Fulton has been seen on The Bold and the Beautiful, but that’s about to change next week when the actress and character make their return to the CBS soap. According to the latest preview that aired at the end of Friday’s episode, Shauna is back on the scene, ready to shake things up.
Denise Richards is Back on The Bold and the Beautiful
Shauna, whom Richards began playing in 2019, can be seen bursting into Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) office with a smile, greeting Bill and his two sons, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Liam (Scott Clifton). “Hi, guys,” is all she says to a stunned Spencer clan. Bill reveals how surprised he is to see his former flame when he asks, “What the hell are you doing here?”
That’s what fans will have to wait to find out, but it’s clear she will be involved with Bill, his boys, and Spencer publications in some way. When Shauna was first introduced to the L.A. fashion scene as the mother of Wyatt’s ex-flame, Flo (Katrina Bowden), we also learned that she had once had a fling with Bill and worried that Bill might be her dad, which would have complicated her relationship with Wyatt, per Soap Opera Digest. Thankfully, we learned that the late Storm Logan (William deVry) was Flo’s dad, so Flo was able to donate a kidney to Storm’s sister Katie (Heather Tom).
Flo was also involved with Bill’s archenemy, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). In fact, Shauna and Ridge shared a drunken night in Las Vegas, leading to an impulsive wedding ceremony. What Ridge didn’t know was that Shauna had plotted with her BFF, Quinn (Rena Sofer), to get Ridge drunk, secretly divorce Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), and marry Shauna. Once the truth was revealed, Shauna became single again and faded from the scene.
Richards made one brief appearance as Shauna in 2022 when Quinn skipped town, leaving Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) in the lurch. Carter wanted to know where Quinn took off to after she dumped him, but Shauna didn’t have any answers.
During her time away from The Bold and the Beautiful, Richards has appeared in a variety of films, including The Housekeeper, A Christmas Frequency, and Return to Wickensburg, according to IMDb.
The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS and streams on Paramount Plus.
