Hilaria Baldwin’s Miscarriage Made Her Body Feel Very ‘Confused’: ‘I Still Feel a Bit Weak’

Getting her body back after suffering a miscarriage has been at the top of Hilaria Baldwin‘s list. However, the star, and wife of Alec Baldwin, admits that her body is a little bit “confused” by how to proceed with “no baby” after her pregnancy ended “abruptly.”

“I have had four children before this miscarriage, so I started looking pregnant even before you can take a test ?,” she said via Instagram on Sunday, April 28. “The swelling in my belly has mostly gone down, but I still feel a bit weak … I still have relaxin in my body.”

Hilaria, 35, shared the sweet post with a video of herself doing a couple of “mini pushups” and “forearm planks” in her house. In the caption, she told her fans what to do if they need to get their body back in shape.

“I am really focusing on my core and pelvic floor right now,” she said. “In these exercises, I’m engaging my transverse abdominis (seatbelt like muscle … think about where that ‘spare tire’ resides … I hate calling it that, but it gets the message across). This exercise should not be done if you have diastasis recti. It is sped up to fit it all in. So go slower than me.”

Since announcing her miscarriage, Hilaria has been very open with her fans about how she’s been recovering. In addition to sharing workout videos to social media, she lets her followers know how she’s dealing with her baby’s loss emotionally.

“Since so many of you have been asking, I want to tell you that I am doing well,” she said via Instagram on Wednesday, April 24. “We all have a purpose in life, and I believe my little one left positivity in [its] short life.”
