Jennifer Aniston on Her Steamy Photo Shoot: ‘I’m Not Ashamed of That’
When it comes to body positivity, Jennifer Aniston is all about it — and she once again proved that during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
The 50-year-old took some time during the popular talk show to discuss her layout in the June/July issue of Harper’s Bazaar — a shoot that involves a topless photo. “Now, you enjoy being naked,” the host, 61, asked the Friends alum, who quickly responded, “I love it!”
“I’m not ashamed of that, no — no one should be!’ the actress added before the studio audience applauded her. Another photo in the shoot shows Jennifer in a bikini relaxing in a chair in the Pacific Ocean.
“You know how you just lounge in a chair in the ocean,” the A-lister joked. “You know how you just sort of do that.” The We’re The Millers costar has always been quite open about her body and her looks as she gets older, especially how she keeps her body fit at her age.
“Happiness is the big key [to looking great as you age.] My dad is 100 percent Greek, he barely has a wrinkle,” Jennifer once told comedian Tig Notaro. “Neither did my grandmother, who was 95 when she died. My life is a happy life. It’s a choice. It’s hard work, you know. You work out, you just take care of yourself and you exercise. You eat right, you sleep, you’re happy.”
The mega star also noted that it is important to simply accept who you are. “When we’re kids, we are constantly working out for smaller arms, a leaner butt, a flat tummy,” she explained. These days, Jennifer is completely happy with herself — before turning 50, she told Ellen that she was feeling “fantastic.” She then proceeded to throw herself a huge birthday bash to celebrate hitting the half-century mark.
Judging by this new photo shoot, it is clear that Jennifer has all the confidence in the world — great to see!
