Marie Osmond Praises Daughter Brianna’s Makeup Skills After ‘The Talk’ Wins an Emmy: ‘So Grateful’
Proud mom Marie Osmond dedicated a sweet tribute to daughter Brianna Schwep after The Talk took home the award for Outstanding Makeup at the 2020 Daytime Emmys. The Donny & Marie star praised her daughter for being a talented artist while sharing photos of Brianna doing her makeup.
“@thetalkcbs won #BestMakeup at the #DaytimeEmmys last night!!” the 60-year-old “Paper Roses” songstress wrote alongside two photos of Brianna, 22, via Instagram on June 27. “So grateful for our glam squad and proud of my daughter Brianna Schwep on the team!”

It seems Marie couldn’t be more thrilled for her child’s award-winning accomplishment, but there’s no doubt she’s the happiest about having Brianna on set. Before Marie and her CBS cohosts Sharon Osbourne, Carrie Ann Inaba, Sheryl Underwood and Eve began filming from their homes in quarantine amid coronavirus earlier this year, the Dancing With the Stars alum uploaded a sweet snap working with her daughter.
“Shout-out to the most fabulous #HairAndMakeUpteam I could ever ask for … I love being with my daughter Brianna Schwep, who blesses me every day by doing my makeup,” Marie previously gushed on social media. “And I am so grateful to have @angelacstylesdreaming up my amazing hair-do’s each day at #TheTalk!”
Although Brianna appears to be following in her mom’s Hollywood footsteps, Marie’s older daughter, Rachael Krueger, also shares a love for beauty. In fact, the Talk cohost — who is also the loving mama of Stephen Blosil, 37, Jessica Blosil, 32, Brandon Blosil, 23, Matthew Blosil, 20, Abigail Blosil and late son Michael Bryan — revealed Rachael, 30, is her total mini-me.
“My daughter Rachael and I are very similar in a lot of ways,” she exclusively told Closer Weekly in October 2019. “She has that same personality that I have where she wants to know and do everything. She’s never satisfied. She just took a hair class and now she’s taking this [other] class.”
Considering Marie has effortlessly juggled motherhood throughout her iconic showbiz career, it’s no surprise she once joked she’ll most likely never retire.
“I feel so blessed that I’ve done so many different things,” Marie gushed to Closer. “I believe you always have something that you want to do. I probably will work until I’m dead just because it’s always been a safe place for me. When life brought lots of lemons, work was my lemonade and it gave me … I had to support my family and it was just a safe place. I loved it.”
No matter how much the iconic performer loves her career, Marie’s family will always be No. 1. “Out of all the awards and accolades that I have been blessed with throughout my life, nothing comes close in comparison with the blessings I receive from being a mother to my eight children and grandma,” Marie told Closer in 2016.
