Harry and Meghan Just Reportedly Went on a Relaxing Trip to Scotland With Charles and Camilla

Royal couple Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been having such an eventful summer! The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly just traveled to Italy with their good friends, George Clooney and Amal Clooney, and now Us Weekly has revealed that Harry and  Meghan recently ventured to Scotland on a family vacation with Prince Charles and his wife, Duchess Camilla.

A source told the magazine that the royal family spent nearly a week at the historic Castle of Mey. The trip also allegedly marked the first time that Harry and Meghan visited the exciting landmark together.

“It’s beautiful at the castle, with amazing views of Orkney Islands,” the insider added. “It was five days of time outdoors, long walks, good food, and quality family time.” The castle is reportedly a place that Charles and Camilla “love” visiting and with Meghan’s dad, Thomas Markle, constantly talking to the press, this was the perfect getaway for the newlyweds. 

“Charles and Camilla care deeply for Harry and Meghan, and with all that has been going on with Meghan’s family, they wanted to get them out of the city and to the coast of Scotland,” the source shared. 

Harry has also been a great husband to Meghan. “Harry’s doing whatever it takes to help make Meghan feel relaxed before they get back to work in September,” an insider recently told Closer Weekly and that means taking her on the most relaxing vacations. “He tells his wife not to worry and that her family’s actions are no reflection on her.”

The royal family is standing by Meghan’s side and is reportedly coming up with an “aggressive strategy” to deal with Meghan’s family. Meghan’s sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, has given her some good tips to avoid the drama, too. 

“She’s advised Meghan that she just needs to do her best to hold her head up high because she hasn’t done anything wrong,” a source revealed. With all of the support that Meghan’s been receiving from her new royal family, she’s sure to go back to work in September stronger than ever!
