Royal Fans Think Princess Charlotte Looks Just Like Queen Elizabeth in Her Newest Portrait

When Kate Middleton and Prince William recently released two adorable new photographs of their toddler daughter, Princess Charlotte, the world couldn’t get over the sweet pics. But, some eagle-eyed royal fans also pointed out that Charlotte looks just like her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, in the portraits! “Adorable and I think looks just like the Queen,” one person commented on the pic with another similarly adding, “She looks JUST like the Queen!”

In the snapshots — which were captured by keen photographer Kate — a chubby-cheeked Charlotte grins for the camera in a sweet red coat paired with a pink scarf outside Kensington Palace. The photos were taken in early January 2018 before Charlotte left home for her very first day of class at London’s Willcocks Nursery School.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte at Kensington Palace this morning. The images were taken by the Duchess shortly before Princess Charlotte left for her first day of nursery at the Willcocks Nursery School,” the two snapshots were captioned.

According to her proud parents, their “extremely chatty” daughter certainly keeps them on their toes. “She is very cute but has quite a feisty side. Prince George has turned out to be a lovely little boy. I hope he will keep Charlotte in order,” Kate recently revealed. Insiders also told Woman’s Day that Charlotte is one of “the happiest royal tots in British history.” So cute!

“They’ve got everything any child could ever want and — unusually for the Windsors — they’ve got two parents who completely and utterly dote on them,” the palace insider explained. When it comes to raising their daughter, Prince William says there’s one trait they’re working hard to instill. “Catherine and I are clear that we want both George and Charlotte to grow up feeling able to talk about their emotions and feelings,” he previously told CALMzine.

Growing up before our eyes, Charlotte’s life so far has been jam-packed with family outings and royally sweet moments. She recently won hearts across the globe when she joined her parents on their royal tour of Canada and spoke her first public words (“pop” no less) at a children’s party. She and brother George also had adorable roles in their aunt Pippa Middleton’s May 2017 wedding. We can’t wait to see what’s next for Princess Charlotte!
