Reba McEntire Reportedly Releasing Tell-All Memoir About Her Darkest Days

She’s been through a lot — and soon we’ll allegedly get to hear all about it. According to Star magazine, famed country star Reba McEntire is releasing a tell-all memoir about her darkest days.

“She’s ready to tell the world her side of the story — all the things that led her to this wonderful place in her life,” a source told the publication in its newest issue, on newsstands now. 

Over the past few decades, Reba has dealt with a plethora of hard times. For starters, Reba was married to her first husband, Charlie Battles, from 1976 until 1987 and they were reportedly “so poor when they got married that they had to live in a $10-a-month ‘dump’ with no running water,” a friend revealed.

Soon after, she turned to her second husband, Narvel Blackstock, for comfort. At the time, they had both just gotten divorced. Narvel soon became Reba’s manager and almost overnight, she became an international star. They married in 1989, but just a few years later, Reba’s life literally came crashing down.

While Reba stayed home to recover from bronchitis one March day in 1991, her band and tour manager took off for their next scheduled stop. But just moments after the plane took off, it plummeted, killing everyone on board.

Narvel was there for Reba throughout that very difficult time, however, after 26 years of marriage, the couple split in 2015 amid rumors he cheated on her with her best friend. “Reba has been through hell and back. But she never lost her faith that things would get better,” the insider shared.

And she was right! Today, Reba is happier than ever with her new boyfriend, Anthony “Skeeter” Lasuzzo. “Everything is going so well with Skeeter that she’s talking about spending the rest of her life with him. He’s a good man and loves to do the things she loves, like hiking and taking trips. For the first time in her life, it feels so right,” a friend claimed.

They continued, “He’s brought the spark back in Reba’s life. She’s laughing again and having fun, and inspired to share it all with her fans in her new book as proof that happy endings do happen.” We can’t wait to read the memoir, that’s for sure!
